I'M SPEAKING AT BOTH BINDERCON AND STOKERCON IN APRIL!
Hi all!
Today I'm announcing that I'm not only speaking on a fantastic panel at Bindercon Los Angels, I'm also speaking at Stokercon, which takes place on the Queen Mary! Our Bindercon panel, scheduled for Sunday April 2nd, is called ADAPTATION: HOW TO TURN A NOVEL INTO A FILM OR TELEVISION SHOW with Vanta M. Black moderated by Sabrina Almeida! Also on the panel: Susan McMartin (Writer/Producer on Mom) and author and IP expert Raye Mitchell. More information can be found here.
Bindercon is held at UCLA and brings together over 450 creative writers, journalists, freelancers, and film and TV writers. Past speakers have included Jill Abramson, Elif Batuman, Effie Brown, Leslie Jamison, Porochista Khakpour, Suki Kim, Lisa Kudrow, Jillian Lauren, Adrian Nicole LeBlanc, Anna Quindlen, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Keri Putnam, Claudia Rankine, Rebecca Walker, and Lizz Winstead.
It's still a little early to say what I'm going to be speaking about at Stokercon as well as the exact time and date, but I can tell you it will have something to do with Vanta M. Black's Oubliette: A Forgotten Little Place. Stokercon is a writers conference taking place at the end of April. Their headlining author this year is none other than George R. R. Martin!
I'm excited to appear at both of these events! Looking forward to April!
