MY SHORT STORY IS BEING PUBLISHED IN TALES FROM ALTERNATE EARTH VOL. 3 BY INKLINGS PRESS!

Excited to announce my short story "To Catch a Ripper" will be published in anthology by Inklings Press.

In grad school, I was easily one of the worst prose writers in my class. Actually, I was *the* worst prose writer hands down. I concluded that I could really only write scripts. Maaaayybeee poetry. But writing novels or short stories just wasn't a skill I possessed.

Then, over the pandemic, I started to write short stories again. So what if they weren't very good? I was writing for fun! But then a funny thing happened...the more I wrote, the better I became.

I decided to send one of the stories I'd written, one that I was particularly proud of, to a small independent publisher that publishes a quarterly fiction anthology series. I'm now excited to announce that my story “To Catch a Ripper” will be published in Tales from Alternate Earths Vol. 3 by Inklings Press, and the book will be available on Amazon in both print and kindle editions. And if that's not enough, as an added bonus I've also been asked to write the Foreword for this volume!

Just goes to show, raw talent is only a fraction of the equation. Practice and persistence are the other parts.
